General settings
General settings control how your workspace is identified, how dates and times are displayed, and which notification behaviors apply by default to all members.
Navigate to Settings → General to access these options.
General
Section titled “General”| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Workspace name | The display name used in the UI, email notifications, and shared links. |
| Workspace slug | The URL-safe identifier used in API calls. Changing this updates all URLs—notify your team before doing so. |
| Timezone | The default timezone for date displays and scheduled jobs. Members can override this in their personal preferences. |
| Language | The default display language for new members. |
Security
Section titled “Security”Control how long authenticated sessions remain active. Shorter session durations reduce risk if a device is lost, but require more frequent logins.
- Session timeout — Idle sessions are signed out after this period. Default is 7 days.
- Force re-authentication — Require password or SSO confirmation before accessing sensitive settings.
Restrict access to specific IP ranges. When enabled, users outside the allowlist cannot authenticate, even with valid credentials.
Connect a SAML 2.0 or OIDC identity provider to centralize authentication. Once SSO is enforced, password-based login is disabled for all non-admin members.
Notification defaults
Section titled “Notification defaults”These settings apply to all new members. Existing members retain their personal notification preferences unless you reset them.
- Email digests — Daily or weekly summaries of activity in projects the member belongs to.
- Mention alerts — Immediate email when a member is @-mentioned in a comment or task.
- Project updates — Notify members when a project they belong to changes status.
